Most of what I do falls into three buckets: shooting, editing, and figuring out what the thing should be before either of those starts.
00:01:14:02 — PRODUCTION
Commercials, tutorial series, product work, event coverage, long-form and live performance. Single camera or multi-cam, on location or in studio. Product and studio photography when a project calls for stills alongside the video. If a job needs travel, budgeting, scheduling, and a crew, that gets handled too.
00:02:31:18 — POST
Editing, color, sound, motion graphics. Most projects come to me for the whole run, but plenty of people send footage they shot themselves and just need it cut. That works fine.
00:04:52:11 — HOW IT USUALLY GOES
We talk about what you're actually trying to do, which is usually not the same as the video you think you need. From there it's a concept, a shot plan, a shoot day or three, and a cut you get to weigh in on. A lot of people are nervous on camera. That's normal and it's most of the job.
